Welcome surfers and travelers to The Surf Hostel; we are a group of brothers who started up the place 3 years ago to provide a cool and laid back atmosphere for people to get the most out of their experience in Morocco. Located in the heart of Taghazout, the number one surf destination of Morocco, we are just a short walk away from world class waves such as the infamous right-hand points Anchors, Killers and Le source. For those with less experience beach breaks like Panoramas, Banana Beach and Hash Point provide the perfect spots to develop your surfing. We believe in providing a home away from home through offering our guests a free hearty breakfast, Moroccan themed nightly dinners, film nights on the roof, trips to Paradise Valley, the Sahara Desert, Souk tours in Agadir, Spear fishing, Moroccan cooking classes,and much more. After a big day of surfing come back and kick it on our ocean view terrace; we have beds for sun lounging and a chilled out cabana with a 20 person couch great for meeting new friends. Come night time; enjoy a yoga session with our live-in instructor, surf film nights on the projector, BBQ's, poker nights, jam sessions and much more. Smoking is very permitted and we offer complimentary Moroccan tea. We also have two indoor communal lounge areas equipped with TV, movies, board games, a ping pong table, and our fully equipped kitchen is perfect to cook up a tasty meal from the fresh local produce with your new friends. We have a range of surfboards available to rent here at the hostel, but if you don’t find something you like- don’t worry! Our brother owns a surf shop just across the road where you can rent equipment, and fix your boards for the same rate as we offer here.
