The area of the Eastern Docklands dates back to the XIX century and as the name implies, had a booming trade with the Dutch East Indies. This grew less and less after the great depression and the area fell into decay. Nowadays it’s a shining example of modern architecture, with a vibrant residential area at its’ core. The Oosterpark is a must see and the Tropenmuseum shouldn’t be missed. Perfect for a family or a group of friends seeking a memorable Dutch experience. The residence combines easy access to the centre with a trendy and up and coming base, close to the well-known restauarant The Harbour Club, where you can lounge and have a nice cocktail. The sail yacht is stylishly decorated with a wooden interior and comes equipped with a range of modern amenities. A cosy living area encourages total relaxation after a busy day, with a single sofa bed. The kitchen is fitted out with a hob, fridge, freezer, kettle and coffee machine, allowing you to enjoy simple home cooked meals throughout your stay. The bedroom includes two double beds, with two single bunk beds available for the remaining guests. Two toilets add convenience, with the bathroom also containing a washbasin and shower. The deck offers beautiful views across the water and a chance to enjoy the early morning sunshine. All in all, the sail yacht provides an unforgettable Amsterdam adventure certain to delight.
