Ame is a gem of a landmark home located a block from Lincoln park and the adjoining lakefront and about a mile from the start of the Magnificent Mile. It is in the heart of everything special Lincoln Park has to offer. You can walk four blocks South to see Second City perform, or go around the corner to Park West and see a favorite band . If you want to taste what our renown chefs are preparing you can walk to their eateries. Charlie Trotter, L2O, Alinea , Ricardos and North Pond are only blocks away. If you are here on a Saturday or Wednesday you can walk a block to our famous City Green Market where area chefs prepare something seasonal and special. If you are visiting DePaul you will appreciate being able to walk to their campus. While staying at Ame, savor a home cooked breakfast every morning and weather permitting have it on the 600 square foot deck. Enjoy all the many common areas of the house such as the living room with a grand piano, the kitchen and breakfast room , the formal dining room and the family room.
