Finglen House, home to Sabrina and Douglas Campbell is a small 2 bedroom Boutique Bed and Breakfast, recommended by Sawdays. It nestles at the foot of the spectacular Campsie Hills, just 30 minutes to the north of Glasgow and 30 minutes South of Loch Lomond. Finglen enjoys an idyllic setting bordered on one side by the Fin Burn, home to herons, dippers, grey wagtail and mallard, and on the other by mature woodland. The beautiful nine acre garden and woodland gives a feeling of complete seclusion, rare for a property so close to Glasgow. Finglen provides an excellent base for expeditions to Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling or for exploring and experiencing the sublime beauty of Loch Lomond and the Trossachs. Finglen House is an excellent choice for business and pleasure.Please note that room rates include full English breakfast but we do not provide evening meal. We are happy to recommend local restaurants.Douglas works as a documentary cameraman and has travelled extensively in Scotland and is happy to give advice on expeditions further afield.
