This historic building has undergone complete refurbishment, during which the grounds, lawns, cornicing, gold ceilings, chandeliers, marble pillars, oak panelling, massive fire places and stained glass windows were restored to their original splendour. The hotel is grand yet welcoming from its sweeping drive to the magnificent hand-carved oak door. The reception rooms include the luxurious Gold Room with its Italian hand-painted gold ceiling, the quiet elegance of the pillared Marble Room, the spacious Knox Room with wall-to-wall windows and hand-painted murals of the Garden Room. Facilities on offer to guests include a lobby area, a restaurant, conference facilities and parking for those arriving by car. The hotel is situated in Kilbirnie, near Glasgow. There are 12 double rooms, each featuring its own style of interior decoration and exquisite en suite facilities. All rooms are finished with the luxurious comfort of handmade soft furnishings.
