If you book with us you can also have use of our main hostel in the next door building with it's large common room and cinema room. Chernobyl tours Go with us to Chernobyl. We can book Chernobyl trip for you without any extra charge or deposit but you need to contact us at least 10 days in advance We work with an official contractor to operate tours to Chernobyl. Something about us Hi, we are a Polish girl, a Ukrainian and a Brit running a hostel in the most beautiful city in Ukraine. We all love Kiev and we know the best places to visit (not only the ones you can find in your Lonely Planet). We also love traveling with our backpacks and we try to travel as much as we can, so it's hard to meet us all at the same time :) We opened the hostel for backpackers who love meeting people from all around the world and sharing their travel experiences. Great location Our hostel is located 30mins walk from the central train station, 5 mins from closest metro (but you don't really need to use it 'cause everything is within walking distance), 20mins from Independence Square, 10mins from Kreschatyk, 30secs from the closest shop with food and alcohol. If you need transportation from the airport look below. *please read the directions carefully Helpful staff We know you want to be lazy sometimes so we can help you organize any trip or activity such as: AK47 shooting, trip to Chernobyl, Pirogiv (Folk architecture and life museum), trip to a train or bus station for tickets to any destination, skiing (only in winter), beach volleyball (only in summer), we will take you out to the best bars (all year round) and many many others. We are open to any ideas! We can help you organize your visa to Ukraine. We speak English, Ukrainian, Russian and Polish between us. Comfy rooms We can offer you a bed in one of two 6-bed dorms(one of which is female only) for the price of 12-bed dorm in other hostels in Kiev. We also have a nice private room with a huuuuge comfortable bed. Two bathrooms and a separate toilet help to avoid lines to the shower in the morning. We sometimes offer breakfast or to share a meal as the mood takes us. Our kitchen is always open and kept clean for your use. But if you like to eat out we can recommend some nice and cheap local places where you can have lunch or dinner (e.g. 5 euros for delicious rib-eye steak with fries and salad!). Security Carrying important stuff? Don't worry. All dorms have security lockers. You can use your own pad lock or you can give a deposit and borrow one from us. If you stay in the double room you can lock the door. Free laundry As a real traveler we expect your backpack is full of dirty clothes;-) Free internet We have Wi-Fi and a computer you can use BUT if you are coming to Kiev just to sit on Internet (looking for a beautiful Ukrainian wife) this place is not for you, sorry. Free linens and towels Don't worry about sleeping bags or linens. You will get nice clean ones here for free. Airport pick up We understand that you can't wait to have a sip of cold beer in our chillout room so we can arrange cheap and fast transportation from the airport straight to the hostel just e-mail us sometime before. From Zhuliany Airport 150 UAH( 14 euro/20 usd ) From Boryspil Airport 250 UAH ( 23 euro/ 30usd ) Evenings with fruity Shisha/Hookah/Water Bong (or however you call it) book exchange board games We are LGBT friendly No curfew! No lockout! No check out time! Just book your bed and chill out! We will take care of everything else!
