Situated on a hillside with views from Chalok Ban Kao Bay, High Bar Resort is all the way across to Ang Thong Marine park. It is just two minutes walk down the hill straight to the beach.High Bar Resort is mainly a bar and restaurant with a few rooms available to rent and all have great views as of Chalok Baan Kao and the rooms in the north part of the building over looks Mae Haad. The building is constructed with wood from top to bottom with palm leaf roofs in different areas. The natural rock is also used in the area as part of the internal look, including an inside waterfall and interconnecting ponds with lots of different fish in them. Thai/Western food is cooked by chefs, who have over 10-year experience. Staying here, you can get great local knowledge of the island from the local staff.
