Property Information: **KOH PHANGAN PARTIES BACK ON IN DECEMBER!** One of Koh Phangan’s best-loved hostels for backpackers – run by like-minded, friendly Koh Phanganers (including Brit & Kiwi owners Karen & Tristan) who loved it so much they didn’t want to go home ;) Come stay with us, drink with us, chill out with us and rave on long into the night, all while being sure you’ll get an excellent night’s sleep in one of our bright, airy and spacious dorm or private rooms. This is an uber-friendly, sociable hostel, but it’s pretty big, so noise is never an issue when it all gets too much and you really just want to s.t.o.p ………. Choose from our range of comfortable, whistle-clean rooms: We’ve got six-bed dorms (including one female-only), double private rooms and a private twin room. All rooms (including dorms) are air-conditioned, and have their own private bathroom with hot water shower plus private balcony (either sea or jungle view). We also have a cheaper basic six-bed fan dorm on ground level, which also has its own private bathroom with cold water shower - be aware there’s not too much room in here, but it’s a pretty awesome choice if you really want to save your baht! If you’re looking to party, Baan Tai is arguably the better spot to be on the island! We’re within walking distance/a very short taxi ride – 5 mins – to the HALF MOON, JUNGLE EXPERIENCE, MAYA, SHIVA MOON and BLACK MOON parties in the Baan Tai jungles, as well as within walking distance to the weekly LOI LAY FLOATING BAR PARTY every Sunday! Haad Rin is where the Full Moon Party takes place; we are a 15 minute drive away to the Full Moon Party beach via taxi, and the ride will cost you just 100 baht. We like to have fun at the hostel, and have a great, comfy and spacious lounge room with a fully-stocked bar that’s perfect for both pre-parties and chilling out on those hazy days afterwards! Koh Phangan is famous for its parties, but also has a bucketload of other reasons to prolong your stay beyond Full Moon or Half Moon. Rent a scooter from us and explore at your own pace (everything from waterfalls, unspoilt jungle interior, countless beautiful beaches and special hidden gems), or go jet-ski-ing, zip-lining, elephant trekking, boat-tripping, or try a Muay Thai class and even a sushi-making class at the restaurant next door… the list is endless!! We want you to have the best experience possible, so if there’s anything you want to do but don’t know about, then please ask us! PLEASE NOTE: All bookings over full moon (any month) and peak season (December - March) will require a room deposit made to us via paypal equal to your first two nights' stay. We will email you once your booking comes through with our paypal details. Deposits to us must be received two weeks before your arrival at the latest (or within 48 hours in the case of last minute bookings), and will be deducted from your final balance owing to us on arrival. If deposit payments aren't received, or you do not respond to our emails by this time, your booking will be cancelled. You must also contact us if you’re going to be a day late! Failure to turn up will result in loss of booking and deposit, no exceptions! If you’re going to be arriving very early in the morning (off the night boat blinking into the daylight at 6am-ish!) – OR very late at night, then please tell us. We have no credit card machine on site, so all payments must be made to us in cash. There's an ATM machine just a two minute walk away from us outside the 7-11. AGE RESTRICTION All over the age of 18 are welcome, but please be aware that we do cater to a younger crowd (usually under 35s) who like to party (including in the hostel lounge room for pre-parties), and who might also be returning home a little drunk at night-time!
