Kyoto Kuniso is a 5-minute walk to Kyoto Imperial Palace, and a 15-minute walk from Heian Shrine and Shimogamo Shrine. It is also a 10-minute drive to Ginkakuji as well as a 20-minute drive to Kiyomizu-dera. The hotel features hot spring bath, lobby with Japanese-style bench seats, and a separate building for guests’ pets. Drinks can be bought at vending machines, and there is a souvenir shop on the ground floor. Parking is available without reservation on site for free. Carpeted rooms feature Western-style beds, while guests in Japanese-style rooms sleep in traditional futon bedding on the tatami (woven-straw) floor. Breakfast is buffet style while dinner is traditional Japanese dishes featuring seasonal ingredients.
