The Chiado Guesthouse, in Figueira Square, is a comfortable property conveniently located downtown. The building has no elevator and the hostel is on the 4th floor. The reception is open 24h. This is the heart of historic Lisbon. Downstairs you can find the stop of the famous Yellow Trams number 28 and 15. Ten minutes walk will take you to the river and Praça do Comércio - beautiful main square of Lisbon. Bairro Alto and the castle are also within 15 minutes walking distance. Chiado Guesthouse is situated in the very center of the city, in Praça da Figueira. You can get here easily from the airport or any of the bus stations taking the metro and leaving at Rossio station, one minute walk from the hostel, or by bus which also goes to Rossio.
