This hostel is situated in old Madragoa, a 2-minute walk from Bairro Alto and a 10-minute walk from Lisbon’s historic centre. There is a communal living room and kitchen, and a free coffee/tea service. The 19th-century building includes light rooms and dorms, all freshly decorated with simple furniture. The rooms have shared bathroom facilities that are located in Jardim de Santos’ hallway. A continental breakfast is served each morning. Guests can also prepare their own meals in the kitchen or take a short walk to the many cafés and eateries in lively Bairro Alto. Free internet is available in all public areas of Hostel Jardim de Santos. After a busy day of sightseeing, guests can enjoy the books and DVDs in the bright setting of the living room.
