My Judy Houses Cottages are two clean, cosy, spacious, self-catering cottages, fully equipped and set in a gorgeous, private tropical garden, off One Love Drive, West End, Negril. Cottages are available to regular visitors and groups of three backpackers also. The Judy House Backpacker's Hostel nestles at the back of the Judy House property in the heart of the garden. It is a small hostel with six small, clean, popular, self-catering backpackers' rooms (3 single rooms, 2 two-bed dorms and 1 three-bed dorm) which have their own outdoor dedicated bathrooms, kitchens, outdoor baths & shower, plus communal spaces. At certain times of the year there are also 5 hammocks to rent in canvas covered Cabanas. Please note that our hostel rooms are designed specifically for backpackers only, who are used to travelling with basic amenities. These are not cheap hotel rooms. The cottages and rooms come with linens and safes. There's free Wi-Fi for everyone but cable TV and towels in the two cottages only. The kitchens are fully equipped throughout with stoves, fridges, microwaves, grill ovens, kettles, coffee makers, pans, pots and utensils, etc. (Towels can also be rented by backpackers). It's a great, beautiful location, set in a friendly, local 'mixed' community. The community keeps some great social rules through the local Neighbourhood Watch like 'no harassing visitors and no loud music late!' My property is fenced and gated with timed outdoor lights and car parking. In the half acre property you'll have plenty of privacy or company, your choice. You are welcome to use all the communal garden areas, including the BBQ, communal table, sun deck, outside baths and shower. Country and pretty, but only 10 minutes from the beach at One Love Drive, West End, plus you can see the sea from parts of the garden. There are local cook shops/bars just down the road and lots of amenities, including a local beach, snorkelling, deep sea fishing, cliff restaurants and downtown shops and banks - not forgetting Negril's famous seven-mile, beautiful white sand beach.
