Common areas?If these are not mentioned you might ask yourself...WHY NOT?Don't pay for overcrowded Dorm rooms.Don't queue up for the 1 shower or toilet between 15 guests.Don't lose stuff because there are no lockers.Don't pay extra for weekends or holidays...This is the real hostel experience not just an apartment stacked with bedsWe are easy to find and centrally located in the Pearl of the Black Sea, this fantastic port city of holiday, history, and cosmopolitan culture.Located just opposite the main shopping boulevard of the city and next to one of the largest landmarks in the city, the Spaso-Preobrazhenskij cathedral on Sobornaya Square, the buses stop directly on the Square.Opposite Sorbornaya Square is Deribasovskaya Street with its beautiful city gardens, restaurants, bars, and the Europa shopping mall, which in turn leads to the port, the funicular railway, the Opera House, and the famous Potemkin Stairs.We have a bakery across the street, a 24 hour supermarket next door with Currency Exchange, banks, ATM's, cafes, bars, and restaurants all in our street, and the best sharma in Odessa just around the corner open 24 hours!Our hostel consists of a large and airy 12 bed Dorm with a small private balcony overlooking the cobbled street; and another large 10 bed Dorm; and 2 Private Double Rooms. There are Free Security Lockers for every guest....a Common Room with sofas, TV, and a Book-Swap Library. 3 shower stalls, and 3 toilets. A large dining/entertaining area and a fully equipped kitchen where guests can prepare their own food.We have no Curfew or Lockout. Security coded entry means guests can come and go as they pleaseYour hosts live on site to deal immediately with your questions and needs.There are hostel computers available with Skype, headphones, and a webcam for you to use and a free, fast WiFi internet connection if you have your own laptop/PDA.And of course:- We supply free linens and towels as standard - We have a well stocked Book Exchange/Library- We supply free City Guides and Maps- We supply free tea & coffee- There is a daily laundry service available- In the interests of Health and Safety we maintain Fire and First Aid equipment on the premises.In an effort to be clear, please understand that this is a traditional Backpacker and Traveler hostel. We cater predominantly to independent travelers and our operation is geared towards creating an experience the dedicated traveler appreciates. We provide lots of facilities such as showers and toilets, and a large fully equipped cooking kitchen with 2 fridges. There is no curfew however there is a mandated Quiet Time after midnight when the kitchen area is closed. This is to encourage those who want to party to go out and enjoy everything which Odessa has to offer while allowing those who wish to sleep the opportunity to do so.These simple rules ensure that every guest is respected, If respecting others isn't your 'thing' then this probably isn't the right hostel for you.We offer a huge amount of first hand travel knowledge about Ukraine and the Crimea, Turkey, Georgia, Eastern Europe, Russia, and Central Asia. Check-in is at 12 noon, midday.We do not accept children under the age of 16 in any circumstances.We do not accept guests under the age of 18 without prior arrangement.We do not allow pets....although we have a lovely hostel catWe exercise ZERO-TOLERANCE with regards drunken or abusive behavior and bad language on our premises.
