The family-run Paphiessa Hotel Paphos is in a relaxing residential area, just 500 metres from a selection of bars and tavernas and half a mile from the nearest beach. It is a 25 minute walk (or a short taxi ride) to the harbour area of Paphos where you can enjoy boat trips or visit one of the many excellent sea-front restaurants offering fresh fish caught that day. Along the promenade area close the harbour there are shops, locals playing backgammon, artists and even fisherman catching items for the restaurants with a rod from the shore.
