The day area consists in a large living area dominated by two large windows and furnished with a double sofa bed (170cm wide), an antique armchair and carpet, and a white-washed sideboard matching the round dining table with its Viennese straw chairs. The kitchen island, fully equipped with all necessities including a dishwasher and combo oven, separates the day area from a hallway leading into the sleeping zone. Modern and stylish, the “island” flaunts built-in cabinets along its entire length, mingling in with the wall and creating a lovely pure, clean and linear effect. To the right of the day area a wall encases a very tall sliding door through which is the study/guest bedroom, allowing for the original perspective of Haussmanian architecture to remain unaltered with its elegant three windows overlooking the Boulevard Malesherbes, when open. The room, small yet cosy and welcoming, offers a single bed (85cm wide), a silk-cushioned chair and a small trunk, in addition to its own en-suite bathroom, complete with a stall shower and toilet. The main sleeping area, however, is at the end of the hallway, to the left of the kitchen, where one finds the master bedroom with its built-in closets, Napoleonic double bed (140 x 190), Empire chair with silk seat, white washed trunk and an elegant 19th century writing desk. The main bathroom, beautifully fitted with designer items and stone inlays, is complete with large wash basin, bidet, toilet and bathtub with overhead shower.
