These apartments are beside the Douro River and feature partial views over the riverfront area. Porto by the River is inserted in a building right in front of the river (at Rua Muro dos Bacalhoeiros) and another at a 50 metre distance from the riverside (at Rua São Nicolau). All apartments feature an equipped kitchen, a private entrance, living room with sofas, free WiFi and a private bathroom. The fully-equipped kitchens of the apartments include all the necessary utensils for guests to prepare their own meals in comfort. The units are sited in the historical Ribeira riverfront area, a 2-minute walk from the Dom Luis I Bridge. This area features a multitude of restaurants serving traditional Portuguese meals, tapas, snacks and quality regional wines. The Clérigos Tower is one of Porto’s most iconic landmarks and is a 9-minute walk away. Also a 9-minute walk away are the Galerias de Paris, Porto’s main bar and nightlife spot. The famous Lello Bookstore, recently voted one of the most beautiful in the world, is a mere 8-minute walk away. The Dom Luis I Bridge connects with Vila Nova de Gaia which features the Porto Wine Cellars, where guests can enjoy a glass of wine while admiring the scenery. The central Aliados Avenue is a 13-minute walk away and features a variety of shops, restaurants, cafés and bars available. Porto by the River is an 18-minute drive from the Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport. The São Bento Train and Metro Station is 10 minutes away, on foot.Please note that a deposit of EUR 50 will be charged in cash at check-in.
