No, we are not professionals. We are travelers like you. We have traveled for a few months, backpacking and by ourselves, to find out the best way to conduct a guest house. What we always asked to ourselves was if the owners of hostels had already been backpackers once. And we found out that most of them haven't. There are a few simple things that only those who have traveled enough can notice. Simple and sutils. And those things are nothing extraordinary. Cleanliness, confort, air conditioning (if you are in Rio de Janeiro), hapiness, space to socialize and to cook your own food. And the house's decor is something specially simple. There is only the essential for you feel comfortable and have everything that you need. And as we are not professionals, we are always chatting and sharing experiences with our guests. We cook together, drink together, go out together, play with our dog (Man, the house's popstar) and we miss you when you leave. Come to stay with us! We are not a hostel! We are a guest house! Come and stay in a genuine Colonial mansion in Laranjeiras, one of Rio's most charming neighborhoods, and enjoy the best of Rio´s hospitality. We have 2 mixed rooms with 7 beds each, air conditioning, lockers and private toilet.
