San Giovanni is named after the Basilica, which is the parish church of Rome. The area is filled with ancient churches and ruins from the imperial days. One such church is the ninth century “Santa Maria Maggiore” which is quite stunning inside. Of course there are numerous bars, restaurants and trattorias in the neighbourhood, catering for a very international cuisine. This stunning apartment has a very classical and traditional feel to it and is perfect for two couples travelling together. In a superb location with easy access to most of the main tourist attractions, the apartment has many wonderful features such as quality furnishings, intricate hard wood floors, delightful artwork, original mosaic tiled floors and beautiful elegant lighting. The living room is an excellent example of this with a chandelier, antique style dressers, two comfortable sofas, a thick floor rug, a coffee table, a flat screen TV and an elegant glass dining table with seating for six guests. The bedrooms consist of two singles and a double bed. Both have nightstands, bedside lamps and plenty of closet space with large wardrobes.
