Stay just two blocks from the Pacific Ocean in sunny San Diego! All you need is your swimsuit and sunscreen and we’ll provide the rest! We loan out beach chairs, umbrellas and towels – we may even have a bottle of sunblock around. And we rent out surfboards and body boards. Located right on the main tourist road of Ocean Beach, we’re surrounded by restaurants, bars and shopping. When you’re done hangin’ at the beach we have a large guest kitchen and plenty of patio space to make new friends and relax. At check in, international guests must present a valid passport. US residents must present valid government issued identification (ie: drivers license, state id card, passport). Guests may also be able to present proof of onward travel. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. Guests under 16 permitted only in private rooms unless an entire dorm is rented. Parents with young children must contact the hostel prior to booking or the reservation may not be honored. The hostel does not accept re-locators and stays are limited to 2 weeks annually. Please note that the prices listed here do not include city/hotel tax of 11.05%. Tax will be added at check in.
