The Palazzo Ravizza Hotel is placed in a historical building from the Siena town, atb just few steps from the ancien wall. It was originally the Residence of the Ravizzas Family. In the twenties, it was transformed into a friendly pension by the heiress Elena and Giuditta Grottanelli de Santi. Nowadays it is still managedc by the Grottanellis. The Palazzo Ravizza has preserved the home's warmth and the ambiance of other centuries where the peace and the silence reign, allowing the guests to take a break and enjoy the reading rooms, the views and the garden. Along the years, famous personalities from the fields of music, paintings, and letters or arts collectors had spent the night here. Among these famous, we mention names like Hellon Frick, Bernard Bergson, L. Douglas, Lady Beckeley, Aldous Huxley, A. Segovia, A. Sakharoff etc. Notice: The hotel closes from 7 January till 31 January 2010.
