Eight Elephants & Dreaming Dragon is a home away from home. Whether you are just passing through on your backpacking journey, or planning to stay a while for study or work, EE&DD is a cozy, friendly place for all sorts of travelers. This is not simply a hostel – it is a family which truly enjoy each other‘s company. While staying with us, you will have the opportunity to make many new friends both from Taiwan and around the world. We are a passionate team of travellers, students, hobbyist/professional guitar players, language learners, storytellers and listeners. Come share your story with us; we are more than happy to be your first friend in Taipei. 《Location》 We are located in Shida Area (Guting MRT Station) 3 min. walk – Guting MRT Station, 24H Supermarket, 7-11, local restaurants 10 min. walk – Shida Night Market, MTC, NTNU, Riverside Park, bars& cafés By Metro: 1 Metro station to CKS Memorial Hall and Yongkang Night Market 2 Metro stations to NTU, Gongguan night market 3 Metro stations to Taipei Main Station (For Train/HSR), Ximen shopping area We offer free maps of the local area and of Taipei city. Once you arrive, we will give you a brief introduction to Taipei! We are big music fans! There is always music playing here, you can even be our DJ. We have a guitar, ukulele and piano. On Thursdays we have movie night and there are other occasional events such as waffle party, dinner, hiking, drinking and dancing. We pour our hearts out to make guests feel welcomed and to make sure they have an unforgettable stay with us!
