The First Stop backpacker Hostel is located at the heart of north Taiwan which you can travel to all the famous spot in our country. It’s only 3mins walk to the nearest bus stop/24hr convenience store, 10-15mins walk from the Qidu train station, which is the biggest rail-yard in north-Taiwan. We offer FREE pick up/drop off between Qidu train station and our hostel (reservation required). From First Stop backpacker Hostel, it’s about: 12mins to Keelung CBD/Keelung Harbour/Keelung Miao-Kou night market; 15mins to Ruifang; 20mins to Nangang MRT, Cat Village-Houtong (Pingxi Line), Badouzih, NMMST, Wu-Fen-Pu and Rao’he Street night market; 30mins to our capital-Taipei, Sandiaoling (Pingxi Line); 30-40mins to Jiufen/Jinguashi; 50mins to Shifen (Pingxi Line), Long-Dong; 60mins to Pingxi, Jingtong (Pingixi Line), Yeliu, Fulong, Northeast and Yilan Coast National Scenic Area; 50mins-2hr to Waiao, Jiaoxi, Yilan, Luodong, Suao; 2-3hr to Hualien; Keelung harbor is also an important harbor in Taiwan, which allow you join cruise to/from Xiamen, Mazhu, Hualien, Naha, Ryukyu,Ishigaki, Yonaguni Island. As we are also backpackers, we do our best to offer clean and comfortable home, rich travel information, extra shoe dryer and shower gel/ shampoo for our guests. To stay at our hostel, you could have a totally different experience than any other places; you can see and feel the real local Taiwanese life style/off track travel experience and also you can easier visit many sightseeing places around north Taiwan. There will be our shuttle wait outside the No.1 Exit of MRT - Nangang Exhibition Hall Stop, and we can pick you up directly back to our hostel.
