The apartment is located in close proximity to the Vienna Prater and the Praterstern transportation hub. It's a short walk to the subway station, and the historic city center around St. Stephen's Cathedral is only 2 subway stops away. This self-catering apartment is air conditioned and has a private balcony. The kitchen is well equipped with refrigerator, oven, microwave, toaster, coffee/tea maker, electric kettle, and plenty of dishes and utensils. The living area has a 32-inch LCD TV and a DVD player. There’s even a vacuum cleaner in case you need to tidy up during your stay. This 3-star apartment is right across the street from the apartment where Johann Strauss lived in the 1860s and composed the Blue Danube waltz; today it’s a small museum. Approx. 0.9 miles (1.5 kilometers) north of Vienna Star Apartments Praterstrasse is another wonderful park called the Augarten, which contains the contemporary art collections of the Belvedere Museum, the rehearsal space for the Vienna Boys' Choir, and lovely Baroque gardens.
