Chalet Hinter Dem Rot Stei is nestled at an altitude of 1830 metres slightly above the cosmopolitan centre of Zermatt. Hinter Dem Rot Stei is an 8-minute walk from the mid station of Fury Cable Car. On request, luggage is transported from there to the chalet free of charge. The cable car takes guests high up towards the extensive slopes of Zermatt Ski Area. On request, guest may also decide for the option of having their meals delivered to the Chalet. The centre of Zermatt with its restaurants and designer shops can be reached by a footpath within 55 minutes. Numerous hiking and mountain-biking trails are available around Dem Rot Stei.Please note that Zermatt is a car-free village. You can park your car in Täsch (indoor parking) and continue to Zermatt by train or taxi. In case you will arrive to Zermatt after 16.30 when the cable car stops to operate, you can only reach the property by taxi which costs CHF 100. Please note that booking for this property is only possible from Sunday to Sunday.
