There are a few hairdryers, an iron/ironing board and alarm clocks available for guests’ use (subject to availability). All guest bedrooms have been recently re-carpeted. Please note that there are steps to the front door of the hotel, and the dining area is downstairs. Groups are only accepted at weekends (e.g. stag and hen parties and football/rugby fans).Please note that breakfast may not be served until 10am on some week daysOakfield Hotel is located on Lonsdale Road, between Blackpool's central and south piers. It is close to the coach station and the main car park. The football/rugby stadium, cinema and go-karting are within 2 minutes' walk across the car park. The seafront and promenade are a 5-minute walk away. Blackpool Tower and Pleasure Beach are 10 minutes' walk away. You can pre-book a VIP wristband at the hotel, for weekend offers on bars and clubs. Oakfield can also organise activities, such as e.g. show tickets, go-karting or a night at the casino.Our privately run 11-bedroom, licensed guest house is comprised of double, twin, triple and family rooms. Because we are a family-friendly hotel, we operate in a non-smoking environment and are also pet friendly, so you do not have to worry about leaving your best friend behind. We have a spacious TV lounge, where you can find board games, jigsaws, books and a pool table for guests’ use. We accept bookings from couples, families and groups of up to 30 people.All guests are requested to inform the hotel of their expected arrival time. We take a GBP 10 returnable bond per person from groups. Football and Rugby fans welcome. For the comfort of our guests, we will not accept any people checking in after 22:00.[room-description]There are 11 standard bedrooms, and 2 are on the ground floor (one double and one single). All rooms have a washbasin, tea/coffee, electric heating and a TV (with Freeview).[/room-description][getting-to-the-hotel]By Car: - Take the M55 juction off the M6. - Follow the M55 all the way till you come to a roundabout (end of M55) go straight over the roundabout and straight over the next 2 roundabouts. - Go straight over the traffic lights and turn left into the car park (signed Lonsdale Road car park). There is normally a height restriction on the car park entrance. - Lonsdale Road is the only road exit from the car park and the hotel is based on the left hand-side, about half way down.[/getting-to-the-hotel]
