Aonach Mor guest house is a stunning four star B&B run by a Scottish couple with an enthusiastic knowledge of the city. Set in an accessible area of Edinburgh - only one mile from the castle - the location is about as close to the city center as you can get without the late night noise. Regular buses will take you into the center or a taxi will cost you around 5. If you enjoy walking, you can take a variety of interesting routes which will take around twenty minutes.
