This budget HOSTEL is located in between Edinburgh's international airport and the city centre in a quiet residential district, with stunning views across the sea. The city centre is approximately a 10-15 minute drive. The hotel has a fantastic waterside location, pictureque and perfect for walking and exploring the beautiful outskirts of Edinburgh. A shuttle bus is available to take guests into the city centre, as well as a night bus. The hotel also has extensive car parking for those guests looking to explore the area by car.. Due to the hostel style of this property, rooms vary from small to medium in size. All are in fair condition and offer basic en-suite washing facilities with a shower. Guests should be aware that many of the rooms have bunk beds.. The canteen style dining area allows guests to purchase and prepare their own meals. There is a kitchen for cooking and kitchenware is provided. The dining area offers communal seating in canteen style surroundings.. A low rise free standing modern building with no outstanding features.. The lobby is small in size with the reception area to the left of the entrance. There is a larger area to the rear of the lobby which contains a travel desk.. This is a unique property catering solely for the young budget traveller. Also on offer is an internet cafe, bicycle hire, a gymnasium, a cinema room, a television room and a lively bar. This property is especially popular with the under 30's and it can be rather noisy at weekends with its popular 24 hour bar! Please note this is a hostel property, and NOT a fully serviced hotel.
