Baobá is a boutique bread and breakfast located in a newly refurbished house in the middle of the idyllic urban forest in Rio. Baobá is practically inside Parque Nacional da Tijuca, a preserved area that during weekends is popular with cyclists, skaters, skydivers, mountain climbers, and tourists. Cariocas come here to reconnect with nature – as an alternative to the beach. On the way to Baobá there is also the “Vista Chinesa”, a belvedere with a Chinese pagoda build in 1903 that offers a breathtaking view from the city below. Within walking distance there are several trekking paths. Baobá B&B has only two private bedrooms and two dorms (for 6 and 8 guests. Comfort is the main concern. There is air conditioning in all rooms, hot showers and wi-fi, not to mention a nice modern décor and a filling full breakfast (lunch is served upon request).
