At a stone's throw away from the Rialto Bridge, in the historic centre and with public transport within a few metres (ACTV Boat 1 and 82), it's in a strategical point for your visits and excursions, convenient the berth for the water-taxi to take you from the airport to the hotel's front door or wherever you wish. One of the few hotels with privilege of facing the Gran Canal, the most important water-way in Venice, in one of the historic palaces of the city.Some of the rooms of this Hotel are junior suites and have a beautiful view on the Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge. Each room bares the name of a Venetian famous bridge: Ponte di Rialto, Ponte delle Guglie, Ponte degli Scalzi, Ponte dell'Accademia, etc ... with pictures, photos and its history. The walls are covered by prestigious fabrics, the furniture is in Louis XV style all for an unforgettable stay. We are located close to Rialto Bridge, between the Post Office ( Poste ) and the Police ( Guardia di finanza ). If you will have any kind of problem, ask the taxi driver to call us. If you are coming by train or car, you can take the boat ( vaporetto ) n° 82 from the railway station or from where you are going to leave your car ( car park is near the bus station " Piazzale Roma " ) until Rialto Bridge and then you have to ask for " Coin " clothes shop. We are at 10mt from it: you will see a pastry shop and in front of it, on your left end-side, a narrow lane ( " Calle dell' Aseo " ) with a shoes shop and pasta shop at the two corners. We are at the end of this lane.Facing Venice’s Grand Canal, and with a views of Rialto Bridge, Al Ponte Antico offers accommodation in a 14th-century palace.
